Connection problems usually come from an incorrect address, incomplete startup, version mismatch, required mods, passwords, whitelist rules, or the player's own network.
Check the server first
- Confirm the panel status is Online and the console shows that startup finished.
- Copy the full server address and allocated port directly from the panel.
- Do not replace the allocated port with a guessed or default port.
- Verify the game version, server type, mod loader, and required mods match the players' clients.
- Check player password, whitelist, ban list, and slot availability.
Identify the scope
- No one can connect: review the server console, address, port, startup status, and recent configuration changes.
- Only one player cannot connect: have that player update the game and mods, restart the game, verify the address, and test without a VPN or restrictive local firewall when safe to do so.
- Players can direct-connect but cannot find the listing: the public server browser may still be updating, or the game's query/listing settings may need review.
When contacting support, include the exact error, full public server address, affected player count, connection method, and approximate time of the attempt. Never include control-panel credentials.
