You normally need the server address, its port, and sometimes a player password.
Find the connection details
- Open your game server in the control panel.
- Copy the displayed server address. It usually appears as an IP address followed by a port, such as IP:PORT.
- Confirm the server status is Online and startup has finished in the console.
Join the server
- Use the game's Direct Connect option and enter the full IP and port, or search the in-game server browser for the configured server name.
- Enter the player password if one is enabled.
- Make sure your game version and required mods match the server.
If the server does not appear
Refresh the server list, try Direct Connect, and wait a few minutes after a fresh startup. Public server browsers can take time to update. If Direct Connect also fails, verify that the IP and port were copied exactly and review the guide for players who cannot connect.
Share only the public server address with players. Never share your control-panel login or administrator credentials.
